Day 4: Pre and Post Production of Films

Organized by Children’s Film Society Bangladesh under the slogan ‘Future in Frames’ On the 4th day of the festival, the film was screened at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m., and the National Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.

The 14th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh 2021 has started on Saturday 30th January and will end on Friday 5th February.

Besides, films of young Bangladeshi filmmakers were screened at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum at 4 pm. Although there is no entrance fee for watching movies at the festival, wearing a mask due to coronavirus (Covid-19) is being considered as a ticket for the movie festival this year.

Children enjoy the movie in compliance with the hygiene rules. Crowds of visitors of all ages have been seen on the festival premises since morning. The festival grounds became abuzz with the walks of children and teenagers when the afternoon came, the parents brought their children and enjoyed movies from different countries for free.

Today, Tuesday, February 2, at 11 o’clock in the morning, there was a workshop for the filmmakers on the process of making films.

The workshop was conducted by Abir Ferdous Mukhar, an executive member of the Film Producers and Organizing Committee, and singers Shayan Chowdhury Arnab and Sunidhi Naik joined the small producers in a special chat at 7 pm. At that time, the short filmmaker said that we are happy to participate in the chat with Arnab and Sunidhi. 

Filmmaker Abu Shahed Emon will take a workshop on all the nuances of filmmaking, at 7 pm, short filmmakers from all over the country will be introduced to everyone.
