Film critic Sadia Khalid Reeti held a workshop on scriptwriting for the juvenile film enthusiasts to enlighten them with adventurous film study at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum on Sunday, January 31 at 11 am. Nishat Majumder, the first Bangladeshi woman to climb Mount Everest, had a wonderful time with invited juvenile film enthusiasts at 7 pm. Her instructions were very helpful and the shared experiences gave the young participants a new perspective.

Later, we had mountaineer Nishat Majumdar among us where she had shared her phenomenal experience on climbing the Mount. Everest.

After the session, we went for a short interview where we affiliated with 14th ICFF 2021 theme ‘mountain’, it’s the concept of logo film and her very own experience. We went on asking the adverse effect that we could suffer in the future by damaging nature for our benefits. From her experience, as she has witnessed both sides of the coin she says “Nature gives a sign for what to do and not. Those who could hear or see them are clever and when we ignore these signs then destruction is inevitable”

She also added how important it is to comprehend what our nature is saying and what we are missing out on the process of growth and modernization of human civilisation.
