28th January, the very fifth day of the week-long International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh 2020, started with the most informative workshop taken by a renowned Bangladeshi filmmaker and founder of the production house ‘half stop down’, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury.
Amitabh Reza Chowdhury took a workshop on storytelling at Sufia Kamal Auditorium, National Museum at 11 AM. There he focused mainly on the basics and necessities of storytelling in case of filmmaking.

On the fifth day of the festival, an interactive session with the FIFA referee Jaya Chakma took place at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium around 6 PM. There she shared her perspective of life and the struggles she had to overcome.
The students of Academia School and Sher-E-Bangla Girls’ High School were at the Central Public Library expressing their glee and watching the films. In Shilpakala Academy Moghbazar High School, Alliance Marie Curie and in Goethe Institut Saint Joseph Higher Secondary School’s students came and watched the films with joy!
Today almost 9 films were screened on Shawkat Osman Hall, Central Public Library and more on the other venues. The rest of the films will be screened at different venues on different days throughout the whole festival.
