Arghya Bishwas was a student of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University. On 14th November 2017, the university administration declared that he can't attend the exams due to his low attendance rate. He was also victimized by some unethical issues occurred by the administration. As a result, he committed suicide and left a suicide note. This film is based on the suicide note Arghya left.
বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রথম বর্ষের ছাত্র অর্ঘ্য বিশ্বাসের ক্লাসে উপস্থিতির হার কম থাকায় ১৪ নভেম্বর ২০১৭ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তাকে পরীক্ষা দিতে দেয়না। এরই ফলশ্রুতিতে এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নানান অনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডের শিকার হয়ে অর্ঘ্য বিশ্বাস আত্মহত্যা করে। মৃত্যুর আগে তার লিখে যাওয়া সুইসাইড নোটের উপর ভিত্তি করে “অর্ঘ্য” নামের এই কল্পচিত্রটি নির্মিত হয়েছে।
