Fatema and Arli are classmates of Barnali. Barnali is a new student at the school. On the first day of school, they mocked Barnali for her name. She returned home woefully and described all the incidents to her mother. "Bideshi" is a story that expresses love for one's own language and culture through the conversation between Barnali and her mother.
